About us

The Association of Lithuanian Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Crafts (ALCCIC) is a voluntary self-governing business organisation established in 1996, which from 18 January 2024 unites and represents the regional chambers of commerce, industry and crafts in Kaunas, Klaipėda, Šiauliai and Panevėžys and about 2,000 of their members.

The main function of the ALCCIC is the representation of business interests and improving conditions for business development, exports, investment and public welfare. The ALCCIC offers proposals for improvement of the business environment, presents a consolidated position in legislation, as well as assesses government decisions, initiates and participates in various working groups and roundtable discussions. The ALCCIC together with the representatives delegated by regional chambers are part of the national and regional level partnership councils (Trilateral Council, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise Council), workgroups, committees, management institutions (Innovation agency and others).

The Association of Lithuanian Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Crafts operates based on legislation approved in 1995 and is the only self-governing business organisation functioning on the basis of a separate law. Under these provisions, membership in the chamber is voluntary.

The ALCCIC is also a founding member of the Vilnius Court of Commercial Arbitration, VšĮ Baltic Management Institute (BMI), the association GS1 Lithuania and the National Regional Development Agency.

The ALCCIC is also the founder and coordinator of the Lithuanian Business Women’s Network. The main purposes of the Lithuanian Business Women’s Network are to assist women in successfully launching their businesses, to encourage the development initiatives of these business, to exchange experience and information.
