History
The origins of the Association of Lithuanian Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Crafts can be traced down to its origins as a business association, founded in 1925 during the inter-war period. Today, the chamber of industry, commerce and crafts does thousand organisations across the country’s five regions. It has also started the branches and representations in Alytus, Ukmergė, Telšiai, Utena, Jonava, Kėdainiai, Prienai, Šakiai and Vilkaviškis. The organisation currently organises the examination of around 90% of the country’s vocational schools’ staff, offering attestations for certain professions. The ALCCIC proactively reacts to the country’s economic, financial and social development and seeks to constructively form a favourable environment for business development, exports, investment and public welfare.
